SnugZ USA Offers Customizable Slides Featured on ‘Shark Tank’

The West Jordan, UT-based company has announced an exclusive partnership with Hype Co. (asi/62070) to sell its flagship HYPD Slydr Pro sandals in the promo industry. The vegan-friendly sandals, which allow for full-color, edge-to-edge decoration, feature industrial-strength hook-and-loop straps, so that one design can easily be swapped out for another.

Hype Co. (asi/62070) was featured on an episode of “Shark Tank” in April, where shark Barbara Corcoran made a significant investment in the company’s signature custom slides.

SnugZ executives said they’re excited to expand Hype Co.’s reach in the industry. “They are master-class creative innovators,” said Brittany David, chief revenue officer at SnugZ and a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of the most influential people in promo. “We are always looking to add cool, high-quality products and brands to the promo world.”

She said that the product’s quality “speaks for itself,” and touted key features like one-piece minimums, full-color capabilities and sustainable attributes. “HYPD slides should be on everybody’s wish list,” she added.

According to Hype Co., its sandals have a patented construction design that is 98% waste-free; plus, the ability to switch designs and styles without buying additional soles cuts down on overconsumption in a sustainable way.

The HYPD Slydr Pro has a unique design that lets the wearer easily swap out custom-designed straps.

Marc Herzberger, CEO and co-founder of Hype Co., was enthusiastic about working with SnugZ. “This strategic partnership leverages our extensive background in footwear development with brands like Adidas, Fila and most recently Crocs,” he said, “and together allows us to bring a product that the industry has been craving.”
