Underground Printing Moves Into 172,000-Square-Foot Headquarters
The promo distributor/decorator is based in Michigan with locations around the country.
Underground Printing (asi/348084) just moved into some new, much bigger digs.
The Michigan-based provider of custom printed apparel has set up shop in a new 172,000-square-foot headquarters in Washtenaw County, MI. The production facility, which is more than three times larger than Underground Printing’s previous space, can accommodate more than 1,600 employees.
“We are excited to relocate to this state-of-the-art facility in Ypsilanti township,” said Rishi Narayan, co-founder and chief revenue officer. “Coming off of our 20-year anniversary last year, this move represents another significant milestone for our company. The new location will allow us to grow our team and increase hiring, while giving us the space to expand production in alignment with our quick-growth trajectory.”
The facility is about 20 minutes from Ann Arbor, home to the University of Michigan, executives noted.
While based in Michigan, Underground Printing has locations in at least 13 states, with a particular concentration in the Midwest. The firm has appeared on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies nine times.
