Gemline Now Offering Cuisinart Grills, Grilling Accessories
The Top 40 supplier can sell the items in the promo market thanks to a new partnership.
Gemline (asi/56070) is continuing its recent run of incorporating high-quality brands to provide to the promotional products industry.
The Lawrence, MA-based Top 40 supplier has announced that it will now be selling Cuisinart grills and grilling accessories to promo. The offering is a result of a newly forged partnership with The Fulham Group, the licensee for Cuisinart Outdoor Grilling Products.
Demand for grills and related accessories increased during the pandemic as more folks stayed home for meals and gatherings. End-user interest in such items hasn’t waned, making the Cuisinart products a smart strategic move for Gemline, executives said.
“Grilling has become a year-round lifestyle choice, and our new assortment of Cuisinart outdoor grills and accessories will provide our distributor partners with more innovative brand options to meet the needs of their customers,” said Gemline President Frank Carpenito.
Cuisinart, which introduced the food processor in the United States, is a leader in culinary appliances, professional quality cookware and kitchen accessories. Products include countertop cooking appliances, blenders, stand mixers and coffeemakers, as well as food processors, toasters and toaster ovens, ice cream makers and waffle makers.
“As we continue to grow our in-demand lifestyle and outdoor product categories, it’s important for Gemline to continue to partner with reputable global brands that offer purposeful, highly desirable products” like Cuisinart, said Carpenito.
Despite the business challenges of COVID-19, Gemline has stayed aggressive on building new brand partnerships, having within the last year or so brought to market a number of brands that were especially relevant given pandemic concerns, such as Osprey (hiking and outdoor activities) and Modern Sprout (gardening).
In June, Gemline announced a strategic long-term partnership that made retail brand Slowtide’s high-quality towels and blankets, made with sustainable materials, available to promo. In January, Gemline announced it would be providing Paper Mate and Sharpie writing instruments through a partnership with Newell Custom Writing Instruments (asi/84833). That deal came shortly after Gemline’s mid-December acquisition of RuMe, (short for ReUseMe), a designer of reusable bags and accessories.
In 2020, Gemline increased its North American promotional product industry revenue 10% to $115.5 million, good enough to rank the company 12th overall on Counselor’s just-released list of promo’s 40 largest suppliers. CEO/Chairman Jonathan Isaacson was Counselor’s 2021 Person of the Year for his business, educational and humanitarian efforts during the pandemic.
