Geiger (asi/202900) has reached a new milestone in its global sustainability journey.
The Counselor Top 40 distributor has achieved a global Platinum rating from EcoVadis, placing the company among the top 1% of organizations assessed worldwide for sustainability performance.
EcoVadis is a widespread rating system for global business sustainability. It evaluates companies across four pillars: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. To earn a Platinum rating, organizations must demonstrate advanced and measurable sustainability practices across all pillars.
Last year, Geiger’s U.S. and United Kingdom businesses achieved EcoVadis global Platinum ratings individually, while its German subsidiaries took home Silver. This year marks the first time the company achieved a consolidated Platinum rating internationally.
The news comes just days after Geiger GmbH, the company’s German subsidiary, completed the acquisition of Düsseldorf, Germany-based distributor S&P Werbeartikel and Münster, Germany-based distributor UP Werbemittel.

Geiger’s presence across the pond started in 2018 when it acquired United Kingdom-based distributor BTC Group. Today, Geiger International focuses on growing the distributor’s presence internationally. To date, Geiger has acquired at least seven distributors in the United Kingdom and now four in Germany.
“This achievement reflects the progress we’ve made by looking at our business through a truly global lens,” said David Geiger, president of Geiger and a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of the most influential people in the industry. “Operating under one rating allows us to assess our practices consistently across the world while continuing to improve locally. Sustainability is not a one-time goal for us – it’s a multigenerational commitment.”
Based on 2024 North American promotional products revenue of $364.6 million, Geiger ranks 10th on Counselor’s most recent list of top distributors in the industry.
