Lewistown, ME-based Geiger had a year of “intentional growth, innovation and impact,” says CEO Jo-an Lantz, who took the top spot on Counselor’s Power 50 list of the most influential people in promo. And grow it did. In addition to clocking a year-over-year sales increase of more than 10%, the firm made its first acquisition in Germany (Europe’s largest market for promo sales) with promo distributor WER GmbH last summer, quickly followed by further European expansion with the acquisition of U.K.-based Brandelity. Geiger’s U.S. and U.K. branches both earned Platinum ratings from sustainability platform EcoVadis. And David Geiger, the fifth generation of Geiger family leadership throughout its nearly 150-year history, officially took up the mantle of president at the firm to kick off 2025, which Lantz hopes will be an equally transformative year.
