American Solutions for Business (ASB, asi/120075) has announced the appointment of Justin Buysse to director of distribution.

Buysse began his career at the Counselor Top 40 distributor in July 2019 as a supply chain analyst. In 2023, he was promoted to senior manager of fulfilment and began managing the company’s Glenwood distribution center, a 60,000-square-foot facility that opened in 2021 in Glenwood, MN. According to ASB, Buysse played a significant role in improving processes at the facility, overseeing the renegotiations of critical contracts and the implementation of a less-than-truckload portal.

In his new role, Buysse will focus on executing the larger strategic goals of ASB’s distribution network and inventory department. He’ll also lead the charge on the implementation of automation and other tools to help support sales associates and customers.

“I’ve enjoyed working across freight operations over the years, collaborating with sales teams and partners to improve efficiencies and results,” Buysse said. “Moving to the [Glenwood distribution center] full-time has been an exciting opportunity to work closely with the team, and I’m looking forward to continuing to take on new challenges and opportunities together.”

Based on North American promotional products revenue of $325.1 million, ASB ranks 12th on Counselor’s most recent list of largest distributors in the industry.
