Counselor Top 40 distributor American Solutions for Business (ASB, asi/120075) has promoted Nate Disrud to senior director of technology and security.

Disrud has been with the Glenwood, MN-headquartered firm for 14 years and has played a key role in the growth and evolution of the company’s technology department, contributing to initiatives that strengthen the overall infrastructure.

“For the past several years, Nate has been instrumental in consistently ensuring the dependability and reliability of our servers and networks,” said Mike Schmitz, vice president of technology. “As we continue to expand, and as our technology rapidly changes, Nate is a great choice to ensure that we are strategically building, securing and maintaining the technological backbone of our organization.”

In his new role, Disrud, will focus on advancing security and risk management, enhancing infrastructure and compliance, and supporting long-term strategic planning.

Disrud said what excites him most about his new role is the “broader perspective” it will provide, “giving me insight into more areas of the company behind IT/security and allowing me to contribute in new ways,” he said.

ASB ranked 12th on Counselor’s most recent list of top distributors in the industry, with 2024 North American promotional products revenue of $325.1 million.
