Goldstar Announces Promotions & Hirings in Its Sales Force
The Top 40 supplier elevated team members in its North American and European divisions.
Top 40 supplier Goldstar (asi/73295) has accelerated promotions and hiring – and the Tennessee-headquartered firm says it’s not done yet.
Goldstar, which operates in Europe too, announced that it has promoted Victoria Schmitz to strategic account manager; Fabian Thiele to regional sales manager for the southern portion of a geographic area that includes Germany, Austria and Switzerland; and Francisco Burgos and Gina Wycoff to senior inside sales representatives.
Based in Southern California, Schmitz has been with Goldstar for nearly nine years. In her new role, she’ll “leverage her deep industry knowledge and relationship-building expertise to forge and manage high-level partnerships that drive revenue growth,” Goldstar said.
Thiele, based in Germany, has been with Goldstar for more than a year. The firm said his “leadership and proven track record will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and overseeing continued success for existing accounts” in the central European region for which he is now responsible.
In their senior inside rep roles, Burgos and Wycoff “will play a critical role in proactively generating revenue for both new and existing clients by working closely with key accounts and buying groups, while ensuring exceptional service,” Goldstar said.
In addition to the promotions, Goldstar also hired seven new inside sales team members this year, the company said. They are Mustapha Hrizi, inside sales team lead, and inside sales reps Mariem Essaied, Hiba Zidi, Amani Kastalli, Nader Bessouda, Billy Chalghoumi and Mahdi Kniss.
The firm is also looking to hire for leadership roles, including a senior sales leader for Europe, regional sales manager positions in North America, and a regional sales manager role in the United Kingdom.
“At Goldstar, we’re committed to constant growth and innovation, and that extends to our most valuable asset – our people,” said Kenny Ved, Goldstar director of sales and a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people. “As we continue to expand our reach in the promotional products industry, we’re looking for talented individuals who are as passionate about growth as we are.”
Based on reported 2022 North American promotional product revenue of $57.1 million, Goldstar ranked 34th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
