After posting a staggering increase of 74.7% (the most growth of any supplier on this year’s list), Goldstar makes its debut on the Top 40. The supplier – which is owned by Top 40 distributor Cimpress (asi/162149) – is reaping the benefits of a dedicated effort to reposition itself in the marketplace. It expanded its product line to add more than 120 styles of drinkware and bags, and has beefed up its sourcing team accordingly. In addition, to convey the fact that the supplier offers more than just writing instruments, it has rebranded itself with a “simplicity” model and launched a new website this year – SimplyGoldstar.com. Lastly, Goldstar is aggressively pursuing talent as it expands its sales team and doubles down on the training and service levels it refined during COVID. As a result, the company is forecasting growth of over 20% this year.
