Bill Korowitz, CEO of Counselor Top 40 supplier The Magnet Group (asi/68507), isn’t in it for individual honors – an outlook that’s earned him and his company the continued respect of his industry peers. Asked about his biggest accomplishments and challenges this year, Korowitz chooses to look on the bright side and highlight the tenacity of the people around him – not just at The Magnet Group, but in the industry as a whole.

“There were lots of macroeconomic challenges continually thrown at us,” Korowitz says, “but a great group of people working tirelessly together overcame them in a positive way for all of us in our industry.”

Korowitz adds that the biggest achievement in his mind was landing on the Counselor Best Places to Work list – a testament to the team assembled around him and the culture that they have created. Both Korowitz and Chief Revenue Officer Dan Jellinek also grew the company by 5% last year amid persistent economic headwinds.

Looking ahead to 2027, Korowitz wants to keep the momentum going and maintain the supplier’s position as a top-selling company that customers can trust and turn to even when there are challenges.

His goal, he says, is “to make The Magnet Group the most reliable company in the industry.”
