It was another year of growth at Counselor Top 40 distributor BDA (asi/137616) under the leadership of co-founder and CEO Jay Deutsch. The Woodinville, WA-based company continued its global expansion and strengthened in-market teams across Europe. BDA also benefited from a banner year for international events as well.
“We’ve continued to see exceptional growth in sports, including activations around the Olympics, World Cup, MLB and MLS,” Deutsch says. “Our technology and food and beverage sectors also saw strong traction.”
Acquisitions played a significant role in the 17% growth the distributor recorded in 2025. Deutsch says adding SwagUp and Harper + Scott boosted BDA’s technology, creative capabilities and global reach. Building on that momentum, Deutsch is optimistic that his firm can achieve a landmark revenue goal in the near future.
“We have a company-wide goal of reaching $1 billion in revenue in the coming years,” he says. “All strategic partnerships, acquisitions, new hires, etc., are with the intent of bringing us one step closer to making our goal a reality. Reaching this milestone will provide greater leverage to better serve our clients and scale high-impact campaigns around the globe.”
Deutsch believes that goal is achievable, but notes that BDA faces an industry-wide challenge: attracting and retaining top talent. Having a top team, he says, will be pivotal in making his goals a reality.
“As customer expectations continue to evolve, companies need people who can deliver strategic value and navigate increasingly complex markets,” he says. “We leverage our investment in employee development, flexible work models and inclusive workplace cultures to help attract and retain the next generation of talent.”
AI Perspective
“AI is already transforming how we work – we’ve successfully integrated AI capabilities into our operational workflows to enhance efficiency. 2026 has been a foundational year of development for us, and we anticipate a significantly broader rollout of AI technologies as several of our strategic initiatives mature. Heading into 2027, we will continue to leverage AI to empower our team, consistently raise the bar for client outcomes and drive scalable organizational growth.”
