Cheesy Pinkies Out! Velveeta Launches Cheese-Scented Nail Polish

Behold, Velveeta’s cheese-scented Pinkie’s Out Polish, which is quite literally the cheesiest brand collaboration out right now.
The popular cheese brand launched its first-ever nail polish collection with Nails.INC, a London-based and female-owned trailblazing brand in the nail industry.

The bold Velveeta-yellow packaging with vibrant red lettering, holds two complementary nail polish colors fit for the summer season. The packaged dynamic duo contains a liquid-gold yellow polish called “La Dolce Velveeta” and a bright red polish called “Finger Food,” a distinct color inspired by the brand’s lettering. Both summer-essential polishes are vegan, cruelty-free and of course, the best part: cheese scented.
“Velveeta is known for its rich, creamy texture and cheesy, melty goodness, so what better way to bring this to life for our fans than with something equally as rich and creamy — nail polish,” said Kelsey Rice, senior brand communications manager at The Kraft Heinz Company.
Though the nail polishes’ scent may be irresistible to some, stick to appeasing your appetite with Velveeta Shells and Cheese. Nails.INC warns, “Please don't eat it — that’s what cheesy, melty Velveeta is for.”
The collection sold out on Amazon in nine hours, so maybe cheese-smelling nails are the new fad this summer. But don’t worry, this limited-edition, cheesy nail polish pair is still exclusively available on the Nails.INC website for $15.
The recent collab furthers “La Dolce Velveeta,” Velveeta’s latest creative platform, which is all about living your best, confident and unapologetic life.
If you’re eager to accessorize your newly coated Velveeta manicure, or if cheesy nails aren’t your style, you can still live a pleasure-filled life pinkies out, with the collaboration’s $5 nail stickers. The sticker set, also available from Nails.INC, contains the words “drip” and “creamy,” an array of mini-Velveeta shells and finger-size globs of liquid gold stickers.
“Our Velveeta Pinkies Out Polish gives pleasure seekers everywhere an irresistible new way to show the world that they are living ‘La Dolce Velveeta’ by living pinkies out,” Rice said.
Velveeta’s new branded merch shows the importance of incorporating multiple senses into promotional products – beyond just sight and touch. Adding scent can deepen the connection with a brand and create a more memorable experience for end-users. An easy way to mimic this collaboration are scented screen-printing inks; have your decorator add bacon-scented ink to T-shirts for a barbecue festival or create a cherry-scented design to promote a bakery.
