Galaxy Balloons Rebrands as ‘Galaxy, More Than Balloons’

The fresh identity includes a new logo.

Galaxy Balloons (asi/55675) offers a broader scope of products than just balloons – and now its new name reflects that.

The Cleveland, OH-headquartered firm has rebranded as “Galaxy, More Than Balloons.” There’s also a new logo.

“This fresh identity reflects our commitment to innovation, growth and staying ahead in an ever-changing marketplace,” the company said in a press release.

Colored in red and black, the logo features what the firm described as a “sleek, minimalist design” that embodies the “simplicity, clarity and sense of purpose” that are the hallmarks of the Galaxy brand.

“We are thrilled to unveil our new brand and logo, which reflect the spirit and vision of our organization,” said Galaxy President Les Dorfman. “This rebranding effort represents an important milestone for us, highlighting our commitment to growth and our relentless pursuit of innovation.”

Beyond balloons, Galaxy provides pet products, beach balls, coasters, ornaments and sports-related items that range from foam footballs and mini basketball backboards to synthetic leather soccer balls.

Terry Brizz, founder and former president of Galaxy, announced his retirement at the end of 2022. Brizz was well known in the industry through his volunteer work, which included serving on numerous committees with Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) and being a past president of the Specialty Advertising Association of Northern Ohio (SAANO). In 2004, Brizz was inducted into the Ohio Promotional Professionals Association Hall of Fame.

Dorfman, a promo veteran with experience at multiple Top 40 firms, succeeded Brizz as president.
