Vantage Apparel Partners With Gap, Old Navy
The collaboration from the popular retail brands brings four new T-shirt and fleece styles to the promo industry.
Vantage Apparel (asi/93390) is partnering with two major retail brands to add to its corporate wear offerings.
The Top 40 apparel supplier based in Avenel, NJ, announced that it’s now offering T-shirt and fleece garments from retail brands Gap and Old Navy as part of its corporate wear collection. The collection is live on Vantage’s website, styles are available for immediate shipment, and samples are slated to be available later this week.
“We’re seeing an entirely new way of dressing for work,” said Ira Neaman, president and CEO of Vantage Apparel, and a Counselor Power 50 member. “It’s a culture of comfort, and apparel items such as hoodies and T-shirts are a big part of the weekday wardrobe. The Gap Inc. family of brands is dedicated to bringing incredible quality, style and value to businesses all over the world. It’s a perfect fit for the Corporate Comfort [trend].”
The new garment styles include the Gap Classic T-shirt (GAP440775), Gapfit Performance Hoodie (GAP607587), Old Navy Dynamic Fleece Full-Zip Hoodie (OLDN33721/OLDN33721W) and the Old Navy Classic Zip Front Hoodie (OLDN207128). As long as the garments are ordered with a corporate logo, Vantage will decorate and ship with no minimums, said Neaman during an April 13 press conference.
GPS Apparel is the B2B apparel division of Gap Inc., the parent company of the Gap and Old Navy, as well as Banana Republic and Athleta. “We take pride in creating products our customers love,” said Richard Culberson, general manager of GPS Apparel, “and working with Vantage in the promotional space expands the reach of our quality, sustainable products to meet the promotional and uniform needs of business leaders.”
During the press conference, Culberson said GPS Apparel brands offer “trusted quality, which is in demand in the promo industry.” He added that the Gap was founded on the values of inclusion and sustainability more than 50 years ago. “We’re selective about the companies we partner with,” he said. “And Vantage has an outstanding reputation in the industry.” The launch will begin with these four styles, he noted, with the potential to expand across the other GPS Apparel brands.
Last summer, Vantage Apparel acquired Krakow, Poland-based Lynka, a full-service European corporate apparel supplier that’s won multiple decoration awards. The move positions Vantage to be able to offer decoration services to customers around the world.
With 2020 North American promotional products revenue of $39 million, Vantage Apparel ranked 37th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
