Zebra Marketing Corporation (asi/365683) has struck a deal to acquire East Beach Specialties, a promotional products distributor that has served customers throughout the Mississippi Gulf Coast for more than two decades. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The announcement comes as East Beach President Leah Snyder retires after leading the company for nearly 25 years. As part of the transition, East Beach’s Office Manager Donna Ashley will continue working directly with clients as part of the Zebra Marketing team. Ashley’s familiarity with East Beach customers, previous orders and ongoing programs will help provide a smooth transition and a familiar point of contact, Zebra says.

“East Beach has built something special over the years because of the relationships Leah and her team have developed with their customers,” said Danny Sirmon, president of Zebra Marketing Corporation. “Our goal is to protect those relationships and provide the same personal attention clients are accustomed to while giving them access to an even broader range of products, services and technology.”

According to the companies, East Beach clients do not need to take any immediate action during this time. Ashley or other members of the Zebra Marketing team will communicate additional information directly with customers upon completing the transition.

For East Beach clients, the company adds, the integration provides access to expanded technology, resources and products while maintaining the local relationships they have come to value.

“We are grateful for the trust customers have placed in East Beach and excited about the opportunity to carry those relationships forward,” Sirmon said.

“Our goal is simple,” he added. “Keep the personal, local service East Beach customers have enjoyed for years while giving them additional resources whenever they need them.”
