John Grue and Don Corey, owners of Adams Headwear by Whispering Pines (asi/97027), are passing the torch to the next generation.

Sean Grue (John’s son) and Nathan Corey (Don’s son) are officially the new owners of the supplier. The transition marks an inflection point as the North and South Carolina-based firm transitions to a new generation of family leadership.

“We are honored to take ownership of Adams Headwear by Whispering Pines,” said Sean Grue, who has served as the company’s president since 2020. “This brand has an incredible legacy, and we are committed to building on that foundation while continuing to provide outstanding products and service to our customers and partners.”

Adams Headwear said customers and partners can expect continued reliability, service and product excellence throughout the transition and beyond.

Founded over 25 years ago, Adams Headwear is a division of Whispering Pines Sportswear. The company provides caps and apparel accessories serving the golf, resort, outdoor and promotional products industries.
