Peerless Umbrella Appoints Katie Kailik as Director of Sales

Peerless Umbrella (asi/76730) has a new director of sales.

The Newark, NJ-headquartered supplier announced that Katie Kailik will take on the sales leadership role after serving as national account manager at the company for almost five years.

According to Peerless, a supplier specializing in umbrellas, outdoor products and games and a Counselor Best Place to Work, Kailik has played a critical role in the company’s continued growth.

“Katie has proven she understands what it takes to succeed in today’s selling environment,” said Dan Edge, president. “Her ability to balance strategy, execution and relationship-building makes her an ideal leader to help take Peerless Umbrella to the next level.”

In 2025, Kailik was named Supplier Salesperson of the year by ASI Media. She is known for her customer-centric approach, prioritizing business development over transactional selling, as well as her collaborative working style.

“We are truly one team,” she said in a recent Quick Hit video on the ASI Learning Network. “We are best as partners – the strongest, most successful relationships that I’ve seen are the ones that really embrace suppliers and distributors working together with a common goal.”

In her new role, Kailik will work alongside the sales team to support territory growth, deepen customer relationships and help sales partners add value to their accounts. Peerless partners with U.S.- and Canada-based distributors.

Prior to joining Peerless, Kailik spent more than eight years in sales leadership positions at Spector & Co. (asi/88660), a supplier headquartered in St-Laurent, Quebec. Before that she was at Debco, a subsidiary of Counselor Top 40 supplier HPG (asi/61966), for five years.
