Have a Question for Laura Bush and Daughter Jenna?
Wednesday January 23, 2019 | Filed under:
I just learned I’ll interview former First Lady Laura Bush and her daughter Jenna Bush Hager, a Today Show correspondent, for an hour during the inaugural ASI Fort Worth show, February 4-6. The interview takes place the last exhibit day, Wednesday, at 8:30 a.m. Like all our keynotes, it’s free.
I first met Mrs. Bush in 2011, when she spoke at our show in Texas, and then interviewed former President George Bush in 2015, also for an hour, when he appeared as our guest. Both were gracious, sincere and funny. He was especially impressive – articulate and straightforward, but kind. It was surprising to me at the time because of his reputation.
I’m really thrilled to have a chance, especially in today’s environment, to ask basically whatever I decide to ask, within bounds of appropriateness. If you have any questions you’d like me to ask, please leave a comment and I’ll do my best to fit your question in.
Click here for more info on the keynote and to register for our trade show, which will be attended by over 4,000 suppliers and distributors throughout the $24.7 billion promotional products industry. If you aren’t already coming to ASI Fort Worth, our very first show in this wonderful Texas city, make plans NOW.
During our conversation, Laura and Jenna Bush will share experiences from their lives before, during and after their time in the White House. They’ll also discuss their current work helping women and girls around the world, authoring bestselling books and staying involved in their local communities. Click here for a fascinating editorial on why the Dallas Morning News chose the complex and intelligent Laura Bush as the 2018 Texan of the Year. And if you only know Jenna Hager through her college years, do yourself a favor and read about what she’s been up to since. I guarantee you’ll be impressed.
See you in Texas!
