Counselor Gets Second Neal Award in a Row

Today in New York City, ASI's editorial team was named winner of a Neal Award for outstanding journalism for the 2007 'State of the Industry' issue of Counselor magazine.
This is the highest editorial honor bestowed on a business-to-business publication. It is given by the trade association in publishing, American Business Media. We are among 35 winners, selected from 100 finalists and 1,050 entries.
This year's award is our second consecutive Neal. We were honored last year for our Counselor series on family businesses.
ASI is the only publisher in the advertising specialty industry to have ever been a finalist for a Neal Award.
We were in great company at today's ceremony. Other finalists this year included Crain Communications, Forbes, Hanley Wood, Hearst Business, Penton, Nielsen, McGraw-Hill and CNET.
My congratulations to everyone associated with Counselor and, in fact, all of our editorial products, which serve our industry exceedingly well every day in print, video and online.
More about the Neals
American Business Media refers to the Jesse H. Neal awards as "the Pulitzer Prize of the business press" and they are the industry's most prestigious and sought-after editorial honors.
Named after ABM's first managing director, who remained active in promoting the business press throughout his life, the Neal Awards were established in 1955 to recognize and reward editorial excellence in business media publications.
