Though the brothers leading Counselor Top 40 distributor Kaeser & Blair (asi/238600) drop three spots on this year’s list, Brad and Mitch Kaeser are forging ahead and focusing on advancing the firm’s new website initiatives and forming more print-on-demand programs.
Additionally, the fourth-generation owners of the company founded in 1894 are proud that Kaeser & Blair was ranked as the number-one medium-size company on the 2026 Counselor Best Places to Work list. To address challenges over the past year, the duo focused on strengthening their company’s internal team and finding “the right positions for the right people to make the K&B machine function the best it can,” says Mitch.
For 2027, “Brad and I are looking to remain approachable with partnerships and increase relationships within our industry,” Mitch adds, “maybe even join some boards and remain a constant, solid name in the promo world.”
AI Perspective
Mitch: “Personally, I use AI to filter email messages, draft ideas and team messages, and of course think up some great recipes. Our office is embracing AI. We’re using Google Gemini to help collect data and organize our team's workload. Brad is our AI master here. He uses AI to manage just about everything from schedules and tasks to home automation and his ever-growing card memorabilia collection.”
