Migrating from legacy systems to a new ERP is no picnic. Tamara Borello – the long-time industry veteran and COO at Counselor Top 40 distributor ePromos – scored a major victory this year by working with her team to accomplish the task that has long been the bane of many a promo company. “Our team persevered through a large-scale digital transformation, demonstrated their work-together attitude, willingness to adopt change, and creative approach to any challenges having one of goal, to get the job done,” says Borello, who has been with ePromos since 2018. “Leaders can be guides, but it’s truly all about the people willing to accept the journey and making success happen.”

The new system is poised to help the Counselor Top 40 distributor get on the right track after revenue fell by 19% last year. Borello says the activities of the past year “are setting the stage for the next period of scalability,” particularly as the company focuses on sustainability and workflow efficiency. Borello isn’t alone in the mission. Longtime lieutenant Latisha Marshall was promoted to senior vice president of operations in June, and before that in January the company hired Adam Rosenbaum – formerly of Counselor Top 40 distributor BAMKO (asi/131431) and former Counselor Top 40 firm Tangerine Promotions – as president.
