Global Head Heather Smartt calls 2025 a “building” year for Goldstar. In addition to growing sales by more than 9% (due in part to an accounting restatement), the Shelbyville, TN-based supplier expanded into Australia, launched its global purchase order solution SimplyGlobal and laid the groundwork for an expanded East Coast fulfillment center to come this year. At the same time, the firm navigated significant margin pressures and added sourcing diversification, ultimately shifting away from its long-standing all-inclusive pricing model to traditional line-item pricing.

Amid these major changes, including the recent launch of a Shopify-based website, Smartt says the company is still laser-focused on the distributor experience. “Making sure we bring our distributor partners along for that journey clearly and confidently,” she says, “is a top priority.”
