Gemline set its sights internationally this year with TransAtlantic Advantage, a new program with XD Connects that simplifies the overseas sourcing and shipping process for distributor clients. The company also launched more than 300 new products across nearly 20 categories, signing new partnerships with seven retail brands, including Hartmann, Timbuk2 and Ringo, a drinkware brand with a built-in magnetic phone mount that’s proven exceedingly popular.

Its highly detailed annual sustainability report demonstrates the supplier’s continued commitment to its “betterway” corporate social responsibility platform, which included eliminating 100% of PVC in all house brand products. Gemline – which grew sales by 5% and moves up two spots on this year’s list – also donated more than half a million dollars in cash and in-kind donations to a number of charities. “This year, we’ll continue navigating the ongoing volatility in the global supply chain,” says Frank Carpenito, president and CEO and a member of the Counselor Power 50. “We also plan to deliver double-digit revenue growth in an industry experiencing relative flatness, and we’ll continue to lead with design, quality, service, sustainability and retail brands as our pillars for growth.”
