Video: Kimberly McLinden Discusses Fashion Faceoff
As the Wearables Fashion Faceoff contest progresses, fashion students at Moore College of Art & Design are receiving an accelerated education in decorated apparel for the promotional products industry, thanks to our partnership with Vantage Apparel. The six juniors competing in the contest have spent the school year designing a male and female athleisure look, which will walk the runway at Moore's annual fashion show in May. For our contest, they're also creating an original screen-printing or embroidery design that Vantage will reproduce on one of its apparel blanks.
We've also asked the participating students to participate in short videos throughout the contest to share their thoughts on the experience. In this video, junior Kimberly McLinden discusses why she decided to enter Wearables' contest and what she hopes to get out of it.
