Kornit to End Sales Partnership With Hirsch Solutions

Kornit Digital, a manufacturer of high-end digital textile printers headquartered in Israel, is ending its partnership with North Carolina-based equipment supplier Hirsch Solutions.

Hirsch, which had a nonexclusive sales agreement to distribute Kornit systems and inks, will continue to work with Kornit through a transitional period ending March 31. Kornit does not expect the terminated agreement to have a significant effect on its revenue.

The move is part of a strategic shift at Kornit to develop an end-to-end direct relationship with its customers in North America, enhancing the level of direct service already provided. Throughout 2018, Kornit expanded its sales force in the U.S., and the company says it plans to continue hiring customer-facing professionals in 2019. Earlier this year, Kornit opened a new North American headquarters and demo center in Englewood, NJ, which the company expects clients and prospects will use to learn more about Kornit products, services and innovations.

“We’re excited to move closer to our customers and prospects,” says Ronen Samuel, Kornit CEO. “We believe it will strengthen our customer relationships and market share, and deepen our relationships with key accounts.”

The decision to end the partnership with Hirsch, Samuel adds, comes after “many months of careful consideration.”
