Merch Company Drops The Ball On Wizards T-Shirts
The Wizards of the NBA play in Washington D.C., but it’s unclear if the sports apparel company Fanatics realizes this. Behold this creation:

Yes, that’s the Wizards logo alright. The only problem is it’s emblazoned over the outline of Washington state. As you can imagine, Twitter is all over this:

And this isn’t the first time a Washington D.C. team has been associated with the Pacific Northwest. Just last year, the NFL Shop mistook the Washington Redskins as a Washington state team by doing almost exactly the same thing Fanatics did, but instead of a T-shirt the medium was a promotional license plate.
