Corporate apparel supplier-decorator Vantage Apparel had the chance to flex its collective creative muscles this spring, as it worked on custom garments commissioned in the Wearables Fashion Faceoff contest. Six juniors at Moore College of Art & Design created original embellishment designs for Vantage to produce. The looks were meant to complement male and female athleisure outfits the students have been working on all year.

To help realize the contestants' artistic vision, the production team at Vantage went above and beyond, with over-sized screen prints, metallic embroidery and laser etching. The team even broke out the scissors cutting and sewing custom-decorated fabric onto sleeves and hoods to transform its apparel blanks into fashion-forward showpieces.
