Use these pitch ideas to help customers plan ahead for ways they can spread warmth and positivity to everyone from public libraries to grocery store clerks.
Feb. 5/National Girls & Women in Sports Day
Interest in women’s sports teams is at an all-time high, from increased viewership of WNBA games to heightened visibility for female collegiate athletes thanks to social media. Use this observance to celebrate the power of girls’ and women’s athletics around the country.
PITCH: Recreational sports leagues or school teams can celebrate girls and women in sports with special T-shirts or jerseys. Or suggest that corporate clients partner with teams ahead of their spring seasons with branded sponsorships.
Feb. 14/Library Lovers’ Day
Feb. 14 isn’t just Valentine’s Day – the date shares the love with public library patrons on Library Lovers’ Day. Libraries often provide essential services to their local communities, so this day is an opportunity to celebrate all that they do.

Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day was created to honor children who are battling childhood cancer, increasing awareness for the cause while encouraging everyone to appreciate the little pleasures in life – like ice cream for breakfast.
PITCH: Pair an employee ice cream breakfast – complete with branded scoops or insulated pint sleeves – with corporate donation to a cancer research organization for double the impact.
Feb. 22/National Supermarket Employee Day
Feb. 22 is a day to celebrate one of the essential pieces of the food supply chain – the folks that keep supermarkets running. The Food Industry Association launched the observance in 2021 to acknowledge the hard work of grocery store workers during the throes of the COVID-19 pandemic.
