The supplier, based in Minnesota and Michigan, has partnered with MBRC the ocean, a global nonprofit organization dedicated to removing plastic waste from beaches and coastlines while empowering local communities and advancing sustainability awareness.

“Spending time outdoors and enjoying our planet’s natural beauty shapes how we think about the products we create,” said Matt Wagner, vice president of sales at Fields. “This partnership allows us to take that mindset and turn it into something tangible for our customers. It’s about making sustainability practical, scalable and impactful in everyday business.”

Beach clean up

MBRC the ocean holds regular ocean cleanups, reintroducing collected plastic waste into the circular economy.

Through the partnership, Fields has launched the Ocean Plastic collection, a line of branded merchandise made using recycled ocean-bound plastic collected through MBRC’s cleanup efforts.

For every item sold in the collection, Fields will fund the removal of five additional plastic bottles from ocean environments worldwide. This model allows distributors and clients to contribute directly to cleanup efforts while sourcing high-quality merchandise that carries a meaningful story, according to Fields.

The collection includes a sublimated wristband with a reusable breakaway (OPW), a sublimated lanyard (OP34) and a sublimated keychain wristlet (OPKW).

MBRC the ocean operates a global network of more than 250 cleanup hubs that, together with more than 10,000 volunteers and partners, remove plastic waste from coastal areas, cities and waterways. It also provides sustainability education in schools and communities. Plastic collected by MBRC is recycled and reintroduced into the circular economy as raw material.
