Don’t let inflation being up get you down. It’s still possible to provide your clients with the same low prices they’re used to, allowing you to avoid awkward conversations and become the distributor who saved the day when it comes to advertising costs.

The Problem With Price Increases

Continuous freight and shipping cost increases coupled with inflation has created a challenging environment for the entire supply chain. For many industries, including promo, projects often need to be quoted individually in order to have an accurate price – and even then, that price is only valid for a few weeks or it’s subject to change again. Not ideal!

This puts distributors like you in the uncomfortable position of having difficult conversations with clients about raised prices. As your clients have grown accustomed to certain price ranges over the years, they may understandably be upset or frustrated when you have to come back with a higher quote than what was anticipated. This makes it difficult for you to secure a sale, create a positive purchasing experience or ensure their continued business into the future.
