ASB Integrates With ASI’s ESP

The integration of tech platforms will create efficiencies and cost savings, executives said.

Top 40 distributor American Solutions for Business (ASB; asi/120075) announced that it has integrated its American PeopleSoft platform with the ESP technology platform from the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI), the largest membership organization in the North American promotional products industry.

Puzzle Pieces

For ASB, benefits of the integration include eliminating the need to rekey orders, real-time data feed, and the ability to view preferred vendors and custom pricing.

“Our teams have worked hard to accomplish this new integration,” said Glenn Miller, ASB’s vice president of business solutions. “I’m confident that this will save time and money for ASB sales associates. We’re looking forward to taking advantage of these new efficiencies.”

ESP is a search engine for finding a vast array of products available to the promo products industry from thousands of suppliers. In addition, the technology solution includes services and tools like a CRM, virtual samples, presentation builder, company stores and more.

“ASI is excited to take our valued association with ASB to the next level with the time-saving integration of ESP Orders, an end-to-end solution that allows orders to flow seamlessly from ESP to the American PeopleSoft system, making the entire process more efficient,” said Bob DeFord, ASI’s senior vice president of distributor sales and marketing. “ASI’s chief goal is to continue providing the tools that help make everyone in the promotional products industry more productive, especially now, with technology playing such an integral role in everyone’s ability to do business.”

With reported 2019 North American promotional product revenue of $202.2 million, Glenwood, MN-based ASB ranked 11th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry. ASB executives Larry and Justin Zavadil co-ranked 16th on Counselor’s just-released 2020 Power 50, a definitive ranking of the most influential people in promo.
