Proforma Affiliate Owners Win $12 Million Contract

Kristen Scotto and Rick Royall landed the three-year deal with an automotive tire marketer.

Two Proforma (asi/300094) affiliate owners have won a three-year $12 million contract with one of the nation’s largest automotive tire marketers.

Kristen Scotto, owner of Proforma Scotto Promotions in West Palm Beach, FL, assessed the client’s needs for an online platform that could process promotional products and apparel orders across nearly a dozen national tire brands. She teamed up with fellow Million Dollar Club member Rick Royall, vice president of business development at Proforma.P3 in Clemmons, NC, to create the automated online store.

Rick Royall, vice president of business development at Proforma.P3, and Kristen Scotto, owner of Proforma Scotto Promotions, won a three-year contract with a tire marketer.

“We would not have won this account without the strategic guidance from our business development and vendor development teams,” Royall said in a press release. “Proforma played an integral role in helping us develop our strategy, proposal and overall value proposition to help us win the business.”

Proforma’s technology team was able to ensure that Scotto and Royall’s online store was capable of automating inventory management for over 11,400 employees daily. Within the first month since its launch, the online store has already generated over $200,000 in sales.

“It’s no surprise that e-commerce solutions will control the future of our industry,” Scotto said. “Proforma’s technology solutions and resources have allowed Rick and myself to offer the great product selections, faster deliveries and increased efficiencies that our clients are looking for.”

Within the last year, Proforma has announced a number of high-dollar-value contracts that have been the result of collaboration between owner-affiliates and the distributorship’s internal support teams. The deals include a $12 million contract with a Fortune 500 technology firm, a $6 million contract with Porsche North America, and a $1 million contract with a large, regional healthcare provider. In September, Mike Lazzari, owner of Proforma BrandCentric Solutions, secured the single-largest contract in the Ohio-based Top 40 distributor’s 41-year history.

“Business success powered by technology isn’t just a claim we make, it’s a promise we keep,” said Proforma CEO Vera Muzzillo. “Our steadfast values have always included maximizing the success of our affiliate owners, but we’re now looking towards a technology-driven future and will continue to invest in the technology solutions that allow our affiliate owners to secure these accounts. In an industry that changes as rapidly as ours, technology is here to stay and we’re committed to evolving our solutions just as quickly.”

With reported 2018 North American promotional product revenue of $378.8 million, Proforma ranked sixth on Counselor’s latest list of the largest distributors in the industry.
