Schilling Graphics Acquires Reusche & Co.
Schilling Graphics (asi/320600), a Galion, OH-based company that provides solutions to the screen printing industry, has acquired Reusche & Co., a division of Trans World Supplies, Inc. of Greeley, CO. Terms of the deal were not released. Going forward, Reusche & Co. will be known as Reusche Inks and Coatings. Former owner Jon Rarick is joining the Schilling Graphics team.
“We’re pleased to become a part of Schilling Graphics,” Rarick said in a statement. “We believe we can make an important contribution to their growth as an industry leader with the addition of the new inks and coatings division to their business segment portfolio. The potential is tremendous.”
Douglas Schilling, president/CEO of Schilling Graphics, was excited about the prospects as well, pointing out that Reusche has been providing decorating solutions through a selection of colors in enamels and inorganic inks for glass and ceramics for more than 100 years. “Reusche Inks & Coatings have a wealth of experience and an excellent track record in supplying high quality inks for custom decorating on a wide variety of containers in the beverage, cosmetics, tabletop, stained glass, electronics and pharmaceutical industries,” Schilling said in a statement.
In particular, Schilling noted that Reusche’s glass enamels have been used in art glass decoration in the U.S. and international buildings, including stained glass artist Tom Holdman’s massive “Roots of Knowledge” mural at Utah Valley University. The mural consists of 80 stained glass panels standing at 10 feet high and 200 feet wide, Schilling Graphics said.
Founded in 1962, Schilling Graphics provides products and services to the glass, ceramic, industrial, electronic, solar, textile and graphics screen printing industries through its four sites in the U.S.
