Vantage Apparel Opens New, Larger West Coast Embroidery Facility
The Top 40 firm has planned an open house for promotional products distributors in mid-February.
Top 40 supplier Vantage Apparel (asi/93390) has opened a new facility that doubles the space for its West Coast contract embroidery operation. Located in Santa Ana, CA, the 17,000-square-foot plant opened for business on Monday. It’s about a mile from the previous western facility.
“Doubling our space in California has enabled us to add single-piece embroidery service, and to eliminate receiving and storage constraints,” said Ira Neaman, president/CEO of Avenel, NJ-headquartered Vantage. “Strategic investments in equipment will double our production over the next two years."
Vantage West operates 140 embroidery heads, and maintains an onsite showroom and separate meeting space for local distributors. The new Santa Ana location --3321 S. Susan Street -- is synced with the company's headquarters in New Jersey and embroidery facility in St. Louis, MO. Vantage, which is a SanMar (asi/84863) PSST-approved decorator, says the synced, strategically-located plants provide distributors with a national embroidery network, consistent quality, and award-winning service.
"The market has responded well to our on-demand model for decorated apparel and is taking advantage of recent freight incentive programs with (Top 40 suppliers) SanMar, alphabroder (asi/34063), and S&S Activewear (asi/84358),” said Neaman.
Vantage has planned an open house at the new facility for promotional products distributors in mid-February. To attend the event, or to schedule a visit, contact Jeff Jennings, Vantage’s facility manager at jeffj@vantageapparel.com / 714-755-1133.
