Jo-an Lantz has continued the pattern of acquisition and expansion that have been a hallmark of her tenure as CEO – a position she took over in 2019. The industry’s ninth-largest distributorship started off 2023 with the acquisition of Tukwila, WA-based Incentives by Design, followed by England-based Firebrand Promotions in July, its fifth in the U.K.

In addition, under Lantz’s leadership, the company has remained an industry sustainability leader, making moves like installing a 700-panel solar array that powers its headquarters; replacing traditional packing materials with recycled, recyclable or biodegradable alternatives; and implementing a hybrid work environment that cuts down on greenhouse gas emissions resulting from employee commutes.

Even though slightly declining influence scores from both her Power 50 peers and the industry at large cause her to slide three spots on this year’s list, Lantz remains a go-to industry voice (moderating a panel of Top 40 leaders at the ASI Power Summit is just the most recent example) who isn’t afraid to tackle any subject.
