Company Culture: “We have a company culture based on being a big family,” says Alex Harrod, president of LogoIncluded (asi/67837). “We all work well together, and during normal times we try to do fun stuff every couple of months, whether that’s going to a movie, dinner or having a trivia night.” Other fun perks include free coffee, sodas and fruit provided in the office and cake for employees’ birthdays. The overall result? Employees agreed unanimously on the Best Places to Work survey that they’re satisfied with their job.

COVID Changes: Throughout 2020, the team at LogoIncluded had weekly Zoom meetings where they shared what was going on in their lives – a kind of virtual water cooler moment. “This really helped keep us all connected,” Harrod says. Now, however, the team is fully back in the office, following CDC masking guidelines and being flexible with remote work when it’s necessary.

Parting Tip: “Constantly be looking but only hire the ‘Hell, yes’ candidates,” Harrod says.
