Fey Industries Inc., parent company of Fey Promo (asi/54040), has acquired Alexander Manufacturing Co. (asi/34040), uniting two multigeneration family businesses. Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

The acquisition expands Fey Promo’s tool portfolio, particularly its screwdriver offering. Both companies are recognized leaders in the tool category and manufacture or assemble and decorate their products in the United States, according to Fey. The company said it will build on Alexander’s legacy of customer service while creating new opportunities for its teams and distributor partners.

“Our companies share generations of experience in the branded merchandise industry and a commitment to putting customers first,” said Mike Fey, president/CEO. “We look forward to carrying on Alexander’s legacy of customer care, expanding our tool offering – especially screwdrivers – and creating more opportunities for our distributor partners.”

Alexander Manufacturing will continue operating in Towanda, IL, with additional support and resources from Fey Industries.

The acquisition comes a few months after Fey announced that it had acquired Promopet and The Bandana Factory back in April.

Founded in 1965, Fey Industries is a domestic manufacturer of promo and print products. It’s the parent company of Magna-Tel Inc. (asi/68480), a manufacturer of American-made flexible magnets and removable skins for electronic devices. It also owns Reflectix (asi/81233) and Mi-Line.
