Counselor Top 40 distributor ePromos (asi/188515) said it has made another strategic leadership hire.

The St. Cloud, MN-based company has tapped Rodney Kelly to be vice president of sales. His charge is to lead sales teams, with a particular focus on enhancing business operations strategies, process improvements and sales practices.

“Rodney brings a wealth of sales leadership expertise from various industries,” said ePromos Co-owners Marc Puglisi, CEO, and Christine Puglisi, chief marketing officer, in a joint statement. “His proven track record of strategic planning, process optimization, and achieving extraordinary results will be instrumental as we continue to grow and evolve.”

Kelly was most recently vice president of sales at Facilisgroup, a software provider to the promo space, for three years. Kelly’s work there included establishing a sales department, aligning sales strategies with business goals through collaboration, implementing data-driven analytics via HubSpot to optimize performance, reducing the sales cycle and increasing productivity, among other initiatives, according to ePromos.

Additional past roles include being sales and operations manager for marketing solutions agency YP, as well as software sales director at Thryve.

“With his extensive experience crafting successful sales strategies, building high-performance teams and leveraging technology for consistent growth, Rodney is well-positioned to make a significant impact,” ePromos said.

The announcement of Kelly’s hiring comes a couple weeks after ePromos shared that it had named promo industry veteran David Jackson to the position of senior vice president of business operations and performance technology. Meanwhile, in October last year, the firm appointed Todd Bold chief revenue officer.

ePromos has been in business for 27 years. Based on reported 2023 North American promo revenue of $67.2 million, ePromos ranked 33rd on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry.
