San Diego, CA-based Terry Town (asi/90913) has a new leader. 

The supplier of bags, towels, blankets and other promo products has promoted Matt Bitran to CEO.

Current President and CEO Sy Ereren, who founded the company nearly 40 years ago, will transition to the position of chairman of the board. He will continue providing strategic guidance and supporting the management team, the company said. 

“I’m truly humbled to be able to lead such a wonderful team towards Sy’s vision,” said Bitran, who joined the company 31 years ago and most recently served as director of sales. “Sy built an exceptional company with a culture centered on innovation, quality, lasting customer relationships and an incredible winning team. I look forward to building on that foundation, expanding our product offerings and continuing to earn the trust of our distributor partners every day.”

Under Bitran’s leadership, Terry Town says it will continue investing in innovation and growth while strengthening its position as a supplier of towels, blankets, robes, bags and more.
