The Counselor Top 40 supplier will be offering tech accessories from the Seattle-based firm through its webstore platform.
Key Takeaways
• Working Together: Counselor Top 40 supplier Vantage Apparel (asi/93390) has partnered with iClick (asi/62124) to expand its hard-good product offerings on its webstore platform.
• What Executives Are Saying: The partnership enhances product variety and convenience for Vantage's customers.
Counselor Top 40 supplier Vantage Apparel (asi/93390) is adding to the portfolio of hard-good promotional products it offers through a new partnership with iClick (asi/62124), a Seattle-based supplier of technology accessories that include Pop Sockets and more.
Avenel, NJ-headquartered Vantage Apparel will sell iClick products through the Vantage webstore platform. While traditionally an apparel supplier and large-scale decorator, Vantage broadened its product scope in August last year through a partnership with fellow Counselor Top 40 supplier Starline (asi/89320) that sees that firm’s hard goods offered through Vantage webstores.
The just-announced deal with iClick builds on Vantage’s hard good focus, enabling the company to offer products that include power banks, wireless chargers, mobile phone accessories, audio and desktop accessories in addition to its apparel and items from Starline like bags, coolers, Bluetooth speakers, flashlights, home goods and drinkware.
“Expanding our webstore platform is about delivering unmatched convenience and variety to our clients,” said Rob Watson, CEO of Vantage Apparel and a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people. “The addition of iClick’s product lineup gives our customers a competitive edge by enabling them to source everything they need – from apparel to premium hard goods – through one trusted platform.”
The product selection from iClick will be available on the Vantage webstore platform beginning Jan. 14, 2025. iClick’s products, like Starline’s items, will be part of Vantage Webstore's single-piece, decorated product offering, allowing customers to order branded items with no minimum quantity.
Executives stated that Vantage’s new platform delivers stronger cybersecurity, as it’s PCI- and SOC2-compliant. That helps ensure data protection and privacy, they said.
“Partnering with Vantage Apparel allows us to deliver the iClick collection to a wider audience through their best-in-class platform,” said iClick CEO Jeff Roberts. “We’re thrilled to bring our product expertise to more distributor programs and help enhance their online branded merchandise collections.”
Based on reported 2023 North American promotional product revenue of $53 million, Vantage Apparel ranked 38th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry. The firm has been in business for nearly 50 years.
