Ross Hunter Joins Liquid Graphics as Chief Operating Officer

Santa Ana, CA-based Liquid Graphics (asi/67660), a decorator that offers screen printing, embellishment and cut-and-sew branded apparel, has appointed Ross Hunter as chief operating officer. Hunter joins the executive leadership team to drive new business development and expand automation technology.

Hunter previously worked as president of ROQ.US, a manufacturer of automatic screen-printing presses, digital printers and other decorating equipment. He led ROQ.US through a period of transformational growth, expanding its footprint in North America and strengthening customer relationships.
Liquid Graphics, established more than a quarter of a century ago by founder and CEO Josh Merrell, has had a long-term business relationship with ROQ.US since 2018, when the company completed the largest installation of ROQ equipment in North America.

In his new role, Hunter will work with Merrell and company President Roy Thorsen to guide the firm’s strategic direction and accelerate its next phase of growth. “Ross’s deep industry experience and ability to streamline complex operations make him an invaluable addition to our executive team,” Thorsen said.
Hunter will help oversee product innovation, integrating advanced technologies including automation and robotic improvements within Liquid Graphics. With more than 20 years of experience in production operations, technology integration and organizational leadership, Hunter will manage the execution of Liquid Graphics’ operational strategy. He will also spearhead expansion of the decorator’s customer portfolio, leveraging his network and industry experience to open new markets, strengthen strategic partnerships and align operational capabilities with long-term client needs.
