Counselor Top 40 distributor Stran Promotional Solutions (asi/337725) is continuing its 2026 momentum.

The publicly traded firm reported sales of $33.4 million in the second quarter, a 2.4% increase year-over-year, according to the company’s recently released Q2 financial statement.

Stran also posted a net income of about $300,000, or $0.02 per diluted share – down by roughly 52% from around $640,000 last year. However, Q2 2026 marked the company’s first two consecutive quarters of profitability since going public in 2021. Collectively, net income was about $1.05 million for the first half of 2026, up from $250,000 in 2025.

“The first half of 2026 represents the strongest six-month period in Stran’s history as a public company,” said Andy Shape, CEO of Stran and a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of the most influential people in promo. “These results demonstrate the operating leverage embedded in our platform and the progress we have made in building a sustainably profitable business.”

Stran’s core business segment continued to be the primary growth driver, increasing 6.9% in the quarter. This was achieved in large part through a major new contract with a construction solutions provider, Shape said. Sales for the company’s Stran Loyalty Solutions (SLS) business – formerly The Gander Group, which Stran acquired in 2024 – were down slightly for the quarter, but gross profit was up 7.8% to $2.5 million despite the lower sales.

Gross margin for SLS was also up 24.3% compared to 21% last year, even as legacy profit margin decreased from 34.9% to 32.%.

“We remain committed to expanding both our Stran and SLS segments, pursuing disciplined acquisition opportunities when appropriate, and delivering sustainable, long-term value for our customers and shareholders,” Shape said.

For the first half of 2026, Stran reported $64.6 million in sales, a 5.4% increase from the same period in 2025. Looking ahead, Shape said the company’s growing enterprise pipeline and diversified customer base positions it well for the rest of the year.

Based on reported 2025 North American promotional products sales of $121.4 million, Stran Promotional Solutions ranks 21st on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry.
