Counselor Top 40 distributor Cintas (asi/162167) has separated the roles of CEO and president, according to various sources.

Current Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Jim Rozakis has assumed the role of COO and president, while Todd Schneider will remain as CEO but no longer hold the title of president.

According to the company, which is best known for its uniform rental and facility services business, the move underscores a more defined division of executive responsibilities meant to sharpen operational focus and governance clarity for shareholders.

Rozakis has spent his entire career at Cincinnati, OH-headquartered Cintas, starting as a sales trainee in 1999 and working his way up the company ladder to hold various positions, including sales director, group vice president for the Northeast region and SVP of rental division sales. In 2020, he became the president and COO of the company’s rental division, leading the segment to “significant growth while navigating the COVID-19 pandemic,” the company said. He then advanced to the role of EVP and COO in 2023, overseeing all of Cintas’ business divisions’ enterprise sales, process improvements, apparel innovation and strategy, quality and engineering, and marketing.

Based on estimated 2025 North American promotional products revenue of $256.8 million, Cintas ranks 14th on Counselor’s most recent list of largest distributors in the industry. That figure does not account for the company’s acquisition of fellow uniform provider UniFirst earlier this year. Outside of promotional products, Cintas’ business divisions include rentals, first aid and safety, fire and design collective.
