Market Effectively Via Livestream
Utilize these helpful ideas to build your promotional company's online engagement.
Broadcast from a trade show using Facebook Live.
Invite a selection of important clients to watch you do a live broadcast at a promotional products trade show. Notify desired viewers well in advance about the stream, telling them you’ll be debuting great new products you want to let them know about immediately. Use email outreach to keep the stream-date top-of-mind. Once at the show, choose a range of products and find an area off the show floor where you can arrange the items – preferably a table where you can lay down a black blanket/sheet. Then, start your livestream, showing the features of each product and explaining how they can be used in promotions.
Demonstrate products to individual buyers using Periscope.
The platform has a feature that allows you to make a stream private. So, hit the lock icon and keep the stream between you and a customer. Then, show off samples of products you have in-house that you think will appeal to clients.
Hold a virtual trade show.
Invite a few preferred suppliers to your office where they can demonstrate some of their best new products via a live broadcast that you stream to clients. Heavily promote the event in advance and try to secure RSVPs from customers. Make sure the space you broadcast from – a showroom, if you have one, could be great – is brightly lit and arranged with attractive supplier displays.
Offer branded gifts through livestreams.
Perhaps your clients have new products or services they’d like to promote through broadcasts. Clients can help motivate desired audiences to tune in with promises that giveaways will be distributed to selected viewers. These items will feature your clients’ branding – and, of course, you’ll provide the items.
