The Counselor Best Place to Work inked several new partnerships with retail brands in recent months, including drinkware from Quiksilver and Pirani, and also launched its ClearPath service for expediting the sourcing of custom overseas products. Even as the Grand Island, NY-based supplier contends with global volatility, “we’ll continue providing outstanding service with high-quality products to better serve our distributor partners,” says Nicole Tasca, senior vice president of client engagement. “We’ll also continue to add retail brands to our product offering to provide a wider range of products for our distributors.”

The company falls two spots on this year’s Counselor Top 40 list, as it recorded a sales decline of roughly 1%. It also announced in June that two-decade company veteran Brian DeBottis was promoted to chief revenue officer, and Counselor Power 50 member Brian Porter (who previously held the role) was no longer with the company.
