In one of the industry’s largest-ever deals by company size, Proforma agreed in February to acquire Safeguard (asi/316203) from Counselor Top 40 distributor Deluxe (asi/178720) – a move that adds nearly 150 distributors and approximately $180 million in annual revenue to Proforma’s network. The distributor has since embarked upon what Chief Brand Officer Tim Nale says is “a phased, intentional approach” to integration, including recent attendance by top Safeguard distributors at Proforma’s Million Dollar Club event in the Bahamas in April.
