Vantage Apparel moves up three spots on this year’s list, thanks to a nearly 4% sales jump after a year focused on improved technology integration, sustainability and strategic partnerships. The Avenel, NJ-headquartered firm allied itself with several suppliers, including Redwood Classics (asi/81627), iClick (asi/62124) and Starline (asi/89320), with the goal of diversifying its product offering both in and outside of apparel. Operationally, Vantage added direct-to-film capabilities to all of its U.S. facilities and grew its integrated on-demand decoration and fulfillment website that pushed company sales to more than 30% online. The company earned a Bronze EcoVadis rating and, through its Earthwise collection, kept 1.5 million plastic bottles from reaching the ocean. This year, CEO and Counselor Power 50 member Rob Watson says Vantage is “continuing to simplify processes for distributors, enhance technology integrations and expand decoration capabilities.”
