This Counselor Best Places to Work company says that its double-digit sales decline was due to reduced merch investment from clients that included technology companies, which experienced challenges last year that led to layoffs and marketing budget cool-downs. While sales fell, BAMKO’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) increased 6.4% in 2023. In the first quarter of 2024, BAMKO reported a 6% year-over-year sales increase and a 32% rise in before-tax earnings – momentum the firm aims to continue. The company is planning to scale up its commercial printing and hired a new VP (Michael O’Neal) in June to spearhead that effort.
