Lancer Sportswear (asi/248426) in Bonnyville, AB, has merged with Thinkwerx (asi/343718), also in Bonnyville. The two companies will now operate as Thinkwerx 2017. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The company reported to ASI Canada that all staff members from both companies will continue on with the new entity, which has relocated to the former Thinkwerx location at 5011-50 Ave. in Bonnyville.

“Overall strategy for the new merged company is to stay the course set by Thinkwerx since 2008,” said Dennis Germain, president of Avocet Management Ltd., the parent company of Lancer Sportswear and Thinkwerx 2017, and owner/operator of the merged company. “This includes exceptional design, large order production capabilities and a strong online marketing presence, while blending in Lancer Sportswear’s strengths in branded team/fan/active wear, with an emphasis on institutional, sports groups and corporate sales,” he told ASI Canada.
