Storm Creek (asi/89879) hosted its first Storm Creek National Sales Meeting from July 17-19. Held at its corporate headquarters just Southeast of St. Paul, MN, the event was attended by 19 of 20 sales reps representing all regions of the United States. Storm Creek also unveiled its new brand identity during the meeting. The 2019 catalog, featuring the new branding and new styles, will be available in mid-August.

GSG made a number of announcements: Clark Lanius has been promoted to GSG branch manager in Baton Rouge, La; Jim Szandzik has joined as Cincinnati outside sign territory manager. Jamie Quinehan was hired as its new sign territory manager for Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota and South Dakota; and Cookie Torres was recently hired as an embroidery service support specialist based out of the company’s Dallas location.

Graphics One has launched a new desktop dye sublimation system, GO SubliMate. According to the company, it’s the first desktop tabloid dye sublimation system to feature neon dye dub ink colors. Developed to be used with the Epson EcoTank ET-7750 inkjet printer, the Go SubliMate Kit adds CMYK, Neon Yellow SubliMate dye sub ink, CADLink’s Digital Factory dye sub RIP software and GO SubliMate dye sub paper as a bundle. List price is $1,399 with the printer and $599 without. The system will be available in September.
GSG appoints Kristen Harris as the manager of the Tulsa branch. Previously, she held the position of inside sales representative with the company.
Transfer Express offers a brief intro to AquaTru water-based heat transfers in this video. The company also notes that it offers custom and stock transfers to show support and raise awareness of breast cancer. Plus, it offers Stretch Litho transfers, a new technology where full-color, digitally printed graphics become one with a garment.
Ryonet announced that Action Engineering aluminum platens now come standard with the new Riley Hopkins 300 screen-printing press. These platens feature two hand-grippers on the front edge to protect hands from heat, and a front and back center notch for easy alignment.
EasyCut Studio announced an upgrade of its vinyl cutting software. It’s now fully compatible with Summa, PixMax, Rabbit and Vicsign cutting plotters.
Stahls’ offers Sublimated SimStitch, which offers and appliqué look with no sewing. The heat-applied appliqués are available in six sublimated patterns and more than 100 color options.

It’s embossed with perforated holes for multidirectional stability and is inherently flame retardant. The company also notes that its offers group discounts to many popular organizations and forums in the commercial embroidery industry.
Cotswold Industries offers Thermal Stick, a pressure-sensitive, fusible stabilizer, with an adhesive designed to keep it firmly in place while embroidering, but still ensure that it’s easy to reposition multiple pieces as needed.
